Salvation Army - Petoskey Corps Community Center

This office of The Salvation Army is a faith-based organization offering a variety of services to support families in-need. For a complete list of services, please visit their website or call.

The Salvation Army can help with rent, utilities, and transportation. For utilities (electric, gas, heat, water, etc.), they can step in once an individual is delinquent one month. They can help with first month's rent, but not a security deposit. Finally, they can help with some car repairs or provide gas cards. However, there are several criteria to qualify for transportation-related services.

The salvation provides a variety of other services including: clothing and food assistance (vouchers and food pantry), after school childcare (K-16 years old) – bus from Concord and Petoskey Schools ($80-100/month), children’s summer camps (faith-based), youth development programs (faith-based), weekly community dinner <$5 per person (open to anyone), and intensive case management for families with a minor.

This organization is also always looking for volunteers!
