Friendship Centers of Emmet County – Council on Aging


The Friendship Center provides a wide variety of resources to seniors (60+) in Emmet County. Many of their services are free of charge or affordable. Their main goal is to keep seniors living SAFELY in their own homes.

Some of their services include: bus transportation, congregate meals, Meals on Wheels (home-delivered meals), in-home services (homemaker services, NOT skilled nursing care), fitness and entertainment activities, and more. They also have a wide variety of health services including blood pressure, flu shot, and foot care clinics, massage therapy, medical equipment loan closet, and educational sessions. The Friendship center has a variety of support groups as well.
