Cheboygan County Council on Aging and Sand Castles


The Cheboygan County Council on Aging provides a wide variety of resources to seniors (60+) in Cheboygan County. Many of their services are free of charge or affordable. There aren’t usually waiting lists and the services are free of charge for qualifying individuals (based on social and financial factors).

Sandcastles is their adult day care. The mission of Sand Castles is to provide participants with the highest level of respect and care while making sure that their needs are met. There is a 4:1 ratio of clients to staff, and payment is on a sliding scale. They will also pick up clients anywhere in Cheboygan County.
